AVK Group of Institutions Celebrated their 7th ANNUAL “SPORTS FIESTA” on 24.08.17 Thursday in the school Playground in a grand Manner and MR.R.Rajendran B.A.B.L., Deputy Superintendant of police, Sankarankovil., Presided over the function, MRS. Allirani Ayyadurrai Pandian Vice Chairman, AVK GROUP OF INSTITUTION was the special guest of the function. The Programme had started by 9.am sharp with the Invocation to the Deity. The gathering was welcomed by Selvi. Thanya Priyanka of class-VII, AVK CBSE. The various houses in the school campus namely ASPIRATION, COURAGE, KNOWLEDGE and INTEGRITY performed their March Past with their respective themes under the lead of House Captain and House Vice-Captain. The cadets and the House Members Placed honour to the Chief Guest and Special guest during the March Past. The March-Past was followed by the Olympic Torch(Procession) after which the National Flag was hoisted by the chief guest , Olympic Flag was hoisted by Special guest and the school Flag was hoisted by the Senior Principal. Then the chief guest declared the Sports Meet Open by releasing the doves. The Chief guest-Presented the presidential Address which Motivated the pupils in the school Mrs.Vijaya (Physical Education Department) presented the Annual Sports Report Cultural Programme, Sports Activities Drill, Martial Arts performance and Track Events were by AVK Students took part and exhibited their skills and in an enthusiastic way. Prizes were given away by the chief guest to the Winners in Various Sports activities from KG to GRADE XII. Vote of thanks was delivered by. It was a place of jubilation Moment for the AVK GROUP OF INSTITUTIONS.
